Kelsey and Trey actually live out of State and were having their wedding here in Tennessee at Kelsey’s grandparent’s house. I was given the honor of meeting her grandparents and seeing their lovely home a few weeks prior to the wedding day. Just as sweet as Kelsey was with her interaction with me on the phone, her grandparents were just as welcoming.

While I was talking with her grandparents, I learned how quickly this wedding was being put together. Her grandparents were so happy to have it at their home but were unaware of where they could rent table and chairs. I managed to get them connected with a place they could rent from and assured them I would help them with anything should they need it.

Trey and Kelsey’s big day went beautifully, the ceremony was held in the backyard of the grandparent’s home and the reception was in a tent on the property as well. Trey and Kelsey’s families were very welcoming to me. It was fun getting to see them all interact with one another.

If I had to choose just one thing that stood out to me about this lovely wedding. It was how close Kelsey and her dad are. I meet him outside the door to where Kelsey and her bridesmaids were getting ready. He said to me that he was the father of the bride and that he could not go in there because he knows he is going to lose it and cry. There is truly nothing like the bond between a daughter and her dad.

Trey and Kelsey I wish you both all the happiness life can bring you. You two have a wonderful support system surrounding you and I hope you treasure every moment you have. Thank you for allowing me to capture your special day!
