Jacob and Lauren had their wedding at Cardinals Nest located in Sevierville Tn. The venue was beautiful! It had a pavilion for the ceremony and a tent for the reception. The venue is decorated with a country theme to it and conveniently had two cabins on location where the bride and groom could get ready in along with their wedding party.
I had the pleasure of photographing the men first and they were an absolute hoot. They were up for anything we tossed at them to do for a pose and had a lot of jokes flying around (poor Lumpy). After the guys were done I then met up with Lauren and her bridesmaids and talk about some sweethearts. It was very clear to me that Lauren has some amazing women in her life and right before she did her first look with Jacob, they all laid hands on her and prayed for her and her marriage with Jacob.
Lauren and Jacob wrote letters to one another and I found it super sweet to hear Jacob say how he felt like his letter to her just didn’t express what all he wanted to say to her (Lauren, you got yourself a good one). Little did Jacob know the letter was perfect because Lauren grinned from ear to ear reading it. Before the ceremony Lauren and Jacob did a blindfolded “first look”. They had a door between them to keep Jacob from trying to peek through his blindfold but they held hands and said another prayer together. They truly are an amazing couple.
The ceremony was beautiful and I had a ton of fun working with the couple after the ceremony was over. It was such a fun time that the day just flew by for all of us and before we knew it, it was time for the send off.
Lauren and Jacob, thank you so so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day! You two are an amazing couple and I know you will have some wonderful years together! I wish you both all the happiness in the world.
