Mike and Melanie Came to the Smoky Mountains to get married at a beautiful cabin on Douglas Lake. They had everything planned out with Pastor Mike, however a few days before the big day they realized that it was going to be a holiday weekend. Mike and Melanie called Pastor Mike in a panic because they still needed to get their marriage license and didn’t know what to do. Even during this stressful situation, Melanie found humor in the situation and told Pastor Mike and her future husband that one way another she would be going back home as a married woman. Luckily Pastor Mike was able to come through for them and was able to point them to another County Clerk that would be open the morning of their wedding. Melanie and Mike were able to go over there and get their license and be back at their cabin in plenty of time for them to say I do. Even though it was a cold busy morning for the two of them, they both had big smiles on their faces when it was time for the ceremony. Congratulations to Mike and Melanie!!!!!!!
